Rolls-Royce to provide logistics support for T-45 F405-RR-401 Adour engines

The US Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has awarded a modification contract to Rolls-Royce Corp., under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, requirements contract.

As per the contract, the contractor will provide intermediate, depot-level maintenance and related logistics support for approximately 209 in-service T-45 F405-RR-401 Adour engines.

Work will be performed at US Naval Air Station (NAS) Kingsville, Texas; NAS Meridian, Mississippi; NAS Pensacola, Florida; and NAS Patuxent River, Maryland.

The contract worth US$106.89 million has been awarded in March 2017, and is expected to be completed in March 2018.
