Rockwell to provide common range integrated instrumentation system support services

Rockwell Collins Inc., has been awarded a modification contract by the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Eglin Air Force Base (Eglin AFB) to exercise the option on previously awarded contract.

The contract is intended to support the common range integrated instrumentation system (CRIIS).

Under this contract, Rockwell will provide the second production lot of the CRIIS for upgrading the test and evaluation instrumentation at US Air Force, Navy and Army test ranges.

This second production lot will help complete range deployment and range activations at Eglin AFB, Edwards Air Force Base, Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Nellis Air Force Base, White Sands Missile Range, Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and Naval Air Station Point Mugu.

This US$21.26 million contract has been awarded in April 2017.

Work will be performed at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Richardson, Texas, and is expected to be completed in April 2019.
